Who is greater ?
If the fractions are similar fractions, then the fraction whose numerator is larger is called the largest fraction.
Some fractions are given
3/5,2/5,1/5
The fractions are all same denominator 5.
The fractions have highest neuminator is 3.
Hence the largest fractions amongs is 3/5.
If the fractions are not similar fractions then convert them to similar fractions. Then proceed as similar fractions.
Let some fractions are given
4/5,3/6,4/7
Convert above fractions into similar fractions.
Step 1 find LCM of all denominator.
The LCM of 5,7,6 is 210
Step 2 then make fractions having denominator of 210.
4/5
New denominator is 210
New neuminator is (210÷5)×4=42×4=168
Similar fractions is 4/5=168/210
Other are
